SHUJAA STRATEGY GROUP | FAMILY ENTERPRISE ADVISORY
Your family built the business. Its next chapter deserves a clear strategy. Shujaa Strategy Group helps family-owned companies navigate growth, align leadership, improve operations, plan for continuity, and modernize with purpose—while honoring the values that make each family enterprise unique.
Who we serve: Established family-owned and multigenerational businesses navigating growth, leadership transitions, organizational complexity, and long-term continuity. Based in Clayton, North Carolina, serving the Raleigh–Durham region and clients throughout the United States.
As your family business grows, new challenges emerge. Does any of this sound familiar?
You do not need to have all the answers. We help you focus on what matters most and move forward with confidence.
Not sure where to begin? Our Family Business Growth Assessment helps owners and leadership teams get clear about the challenges and opportunities that matter most, so they can move from uncertainty to focused priorities for growth and long-term continuity.
What you can expect:
We confirm scope, timing, and fees before beginning an engagement.
Move from competing priorities to a clearer growth direction. Identify opportunities to strengthen competitiveness, improve organizational performance, and scale sustainably.
Strengthen alignment across family, ownership, and management. Clarify leadership responsibilities, improve communication, and create greater confidence in important business decisions.
Prepare emerging leaders, preserve valuable business knowledge, and plan for leadership continuity. We support business readiness and coordinate with qualified specialists when legal, tax, or estate matters arise.
Help business-owning families clarify shared long-term priorities, discuss how ownership and enterprise decisions affect future generations, and organize conversations about legacy, philanthropy, and continuity. We facilitate business-related planning and coordinate with the family’s attorneys, CPAs, and appropriately licensed financial professionals when specialized advice is needed. We do not manage investments, recommend securities, prepare estate documents, or provide legal or tax advice.
Modernize operations, strengthen customer experience, and explore digital tools and responsible AI applications that fit your goals—so technology supports the business instead of distracting from it.
Bring leaders together around shared priorities, strengthen team capabilities, and turn strategic plans into coordinated action and measurable progress.
Shujaa Strategy Group is led by Solomon C. Shujaa, who holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Family Enterprise and is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration in Strategy & Innovation. Our work connects family enterprise strategy with practical organizational improvement, training, operations, and digital modernization. We begin by understanding the people and priorities behind each business.
Family enterprises navigate the overlapping interests of family, ownership, and management. Our perspective draws on scholarship and practitioner insights, including resources from the Family Firm Institute (FFI), alongside real-world leadership and operational experience. SSG is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by FFI.
We provide business and organizational consulting, not legal, tax, securities, or regulated investment advice. Family wealth, ownership transfers, and estate planning should involve properly qualified specialists.
